Once in a Blue Moon

After a long empty posting period, I have finally come out with this piece of artwork.

This is a piece of art which requested by my bro - Ron for a month ago....
It was really a busy months for me and there will be even busier for the remaining months of the year. Don't worry, I will still try to paint others during my leisure time.

(TingTing is getting heavier, but Ron is pretending to be enjoyable.)

Anyhow, this caricature is dedicated for my friend here who is going to be the 'Lou Chen'

Long Long Time

After a long long time of not posting anything, I feel sorry to anyone who pays visit to this blog. I apology to anyone who still supporting me and please continue your support, I'll do better.

Recently, I'm experiencing a transition of my lifetime. I have changed my job into another new industry which is totally strange to me. A whole new sector waiting for me to explore, it's sometimes quite mentally challenging as I need to completely change my mindset to adapt into this business.

Anyhow, I still will not miss out this portion of my life. I'm still in love with caricaturing.

This is the drawing I have done early of this week but yet found the time to post it here. Eline has been wishing in her heart that there is a caricature drawn for her couple of kids, Ian & Chloe.

(Ian and Chloe photos given by Eline)

Then, I finally made it before leaving my ex-company, yet still pending for coloring.
Until last week I took a part of my time to furnish up the color and it ended up pretty satisfied.

(Ian & Chloe in a cycling craze. Vroom...vroom...)

Hope that this has fulfilled Eline long time dream. I think her desire of this happening has been accumulating strongly until I unreasonably done this for her.

Cheers, Eline!

My First ever Supporter

I am so glad the other day when i received a message from an unknown.
She said she loves my caricature and wish me to draw one for her.

How could I turn down such a touching request?
In fact, she asked do i draw for earning? Of course, NO. How wish i can but I'm humbly to tell her that I am still in learning stage.

After some emailing, she threw me a challenge. This caricaturing is for her First Anniversary with her lovely hubby in July 2009. Gosh, a bit pressure now. Before, the end of June, I quickly get it drawn and scanned it using my ex-company facility.

So, check this out:

(My gigg drawing them on a water skiing session)

Phew, in the end, I still make it early. Total hours spent
1. caricaturing on paper = 1 hour (including thinking the gigg)
2. painting on Photoshop = 3 hours
Will try to shorten the time next round.

(gratitude msg from Serene. That's the best moment I'm waiting for)

Cheers, Serene. Hope you have a wonderful and remarkable Anniversary!
